Z chemick\u00e9ho hlediska je to t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 \u010dist\u00e1 sachar\u00f3za (minim\u00e1ln\u011b 99,8%), tedy disacharid slo\u017een\u00fd z jedn\u00e9 molekuly gluk\u00f3zy a jedn\u00e9 molekuly frukt\u00f3zy.<!--more--> Vyr\u00e1b\u00ed se v\u00a0cukrovarech, zejm\u00e9na z cukrov\u00e9 t\u0159tiny a z cukrov\u00e9 \u0159epy, na trh je dod\u00e1v\u00e1n v krystalech, pr\u00e1\u0161ku, kostk\u00e1ch atd.<\/p>\n<p>Sv\u011btov\u00e1 <strong>produkce<\/strong> cukru je kolem <strong>160 milion\u016f tun ro\u010dn\u011b<\/strong> a cukr je tak hospod\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fd v\u00fdznamn\u00e1 komodita.\u00a0Sachar\u00f3zu obsahuj\u00ed mnoh\u00e9 rostliny, kter\u00e9 ji produkuj\u00ed jako z\u00e1sobu energie.
