Mnoho z nich tak\u00e9 poch\u00e1z\u00ed z m\u00edst, kde d\u0159\u00edve s\u00eddlily starod\u00e1vn\u00e9 civilizace (St\u0159edomo\u0159\u00ed, Ji\u017en\u00ed Amerika, Asie, Severn\u00ed Afrika, aj.). Drsn\u00e9 podm\u00ednky jako nap\u0159. pou\u0161t\u011b, tropick\u00e9 pralesy nebo nadmo\u0159sk\u00e1 v\u00fd\u0161ka donutily plodiny zadr\u017eovat v sob\u011b co mo\u017en\u00e1 nejv\u00edce \u017eivin, aby v takov\u00e9m prost\u0159ed\u00ed mohly v\u016fbec p\u0159e\u017e\u00edt.
